Diddy is Number 1

Hip-Hop artist Sean “Diddy” Combs is the richest man in the business according to Forbes Magazine. His fortune comes from his holdings in music (Bad Boy Worldwide record label), clothes (Sean John clothing) and perhaps surprisingly liquor (Vodka brand Ciroc). His estimated net worth is $475 million.

Following closely is Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter (what is it with all these Shawns??) who’s net worth is estimated to be $450 million. Rounding out the top five are: Dr. Dre, 50 Cents and Birdman.

Subway Passes McDonald’s

McDonald’s is no longer the world’s largest restaurant chain. That honor now goes to Subway. Subway had 33,749 restaurants open worldwide at the end of 2010. McDonald’s had just 32,737 locations open by the same point.

Wow. How many sandwiches have they sold?? Billions and billions?
